This three-day course is a more in-depth understanding of First Aid, which looks at illness and injury in the workplace. Those who pass will receive a First Aid at Work qualification. This can be held in your workplace or at our base in Ramsgate. In addition, we can tailor this to suit the days your workplace is available. This course is ideal for employers who, based on their risk assessment, operate with a higher degree of hazard.

What you will cover:

• Everything that is covered in the Emergency First Aid at Work course
• Life-threatening external bleeding,
• Broken bone recognition and management,
• Head and spinal injury management,
• Eye injuries including, dust, chemicals, and embedded objects,
• Illness recognition and treatment including, anaphylaxis, heart attack, stroke, epileptic seizures, asthma attacks, and diabetic emergencies.
