We are a charity based around the Thanet towns of Margate and Ramsgate whose aim is to develop and improve the area for everyone. This is done mainly through developing the local communities, however they are defined, but where possible focussing the help on those who are in some way disadvantaged.
Strategic Aims
- To have key strategic alliances that endorse the activities of TCDT.
- To provide an excellent facility in support of local community groups and individuals.
- To achieve sustainable core funding.
- To expand its range of services, income streams and markets.
- To raise awareness and ownership of the Trust within the community.
TCDT is managed by a Trust Board of up to 12 volunteers and is entirely independent. Its income comes from its social enterprises, its asset base and grants.
