Thanet Community Development Trust has training facilities and meeting rooms at the Academy in Cliftonville and at the Hereson Family and Community Centre in Ramsgate. The Centres have been designed to create a pleasant working atmosphere in which to work or learn.
Our training includes courses on:

Skills for Jobs

Pre-employment training for those aged 19+ who are seeking employment but not currently working or training. A short course offering skills which focus on getting what's best for you and making your application stand out.

Gateway to Work

A two week training course for those who have been unemployed for a longer period which includes confidence building, communication skills, CV writing and interview techniques.

NVQs in Community Development

The training course allows you to work within the community and gain a qualification at the same time.
