Local Enterprise And Development Centre

The LEAD Centre
has been supported
by funding from the
European Regional Development Fund.

The site of the Local Enterprise and Development (LEAD) Centre consists of former warehouse space, a single storey office block and a number of workshops and storage rooms. The warehouse is occupied by Revolution Skatepark, the only indoor skate park in East Kent, which also houses a climbing wall. The other properties are let on short-term leases to a variety of organisations. Thanet Community Transport Association also has its offices here, operating community buses, including a Dial-a-Ride service (for more information telephone: 01843 602030).

The name Local Enterprise and Development Centre was specifically chosen to encourage small and developing businesses and organisations to take up tenancies. The aim of the Thanet Community Development Trust is to help small start-up businesses wherever possible.

Parking is available on site and the two entrances to the site are protected by steel gates for security. Both the office space and workshop units are available for short-term leases at the current market price, although this is negotiable, subject to the space required.

Offices, Workshops and Storage space are currently available to rent at reasonable prices. Please contact 01843 855155 or 05601294661, for more details.
