Hereson Family and Community Centre

Negotiations began in 1999 with Kent County Council to develop part of the old Hereson school site. With the added support of Government Office for the South East and the European Commission, the Trust was able to build the new Family and Community Centre.

The Centre provides family and children’s services with consultation rooms, offices, meeting rooms and facilities for a crèche and play area in the garden for children. Kent County Council operates some services from the Centre, while the Action for Children runs the children’s services and the Trust works with the community and provides training facilities.

Meeting Rooms

The Hereson Centre offers up to date facilities with a choice of meeting rooms, an IT suite and community library.
There are three meeting rooms which accommodate from 4 – 20 people. An IT suite is also available with ten fully networked laptops which can be incorporated into the large meeting room or divided to provide separate training/meeting rooms. All the rooms are available for hire and refreshments can be arranged from tea/coffee to buffet lunches. For information regarding prices and booking, contact 01843 855155 or use the contact form.
